Jared Bobkin began his culinary journey at 23, diving headfirst into the industry while balancing culinary school and early work at Max & Erma’s before honing his craft at Edgewood Country Club under mentor David Daniot, C.E.C. He quickly rose to Sous Chef at the Birmingham Athletic Club before pursuing broader experiences in independent restaurants, catering, private chef work, and high-profile competitions—including representing the U.S. in the International Shellfish Competition and earning a 4th place finish on Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen. Jared later returned for the show’s All-Stars season, all while helping launch some of metro Detroit’s most acclaimed restaurants. His career spans leading executive chef roles, running corporate hospitality cabins at The Masters and other global golf tournaments, and serving as Culinary Director for Ventures Events’ Wine & Food Experiences across 11 U.S. cities. Today, Jared continues to bring unique dining experiences to life as a private chef and as the owner of The Dump Truck, serving dumplings packed with bold flavor
